Why you don't drink and boat ...

It seems like I never have anything good to report on here...
Here's the latest from my little slice of the world. A bunch of young people hit the lake by houseboat on Wednesday night, only to capsize after trying to cram 60 people on a vessel meant for less than half of that. A young girl died because these yahoos weren't paying attention to safety.
To top it off, I knew a lot of these people. Thankfully, I didn't know the girl, but I did know most of the people involved - like my boy Deon. They were all servers, cooks, or friends of people who worked at Earl's. There's no better way to start the day than to turn on the TV and see your friends talking about a tragedy like this.
