In a word: Genius.

I think you really have to be jewish to really appreciate this ...

Separated at birth

I got an email the other day.. apparently there has been some talk amongst my friends about how I look like some dude from "So You Think You Can Dance." Much hilarity ensues every time this topic is broached. Apparently. I fail to see the humour in it. So I took it upon myself to find celebrity matches for MY friends.
So here we are: the very first edition of Seperated at Birth.

PAUL AND THE PIKEY

Now Paul doesn't so much look like his clone, as he sounds like him. His unintelligble accent is indistinguishable from Brad's in the movie Snatch.

STEPHANIE AND CARTOON OPRAH

The resemblance is uncanny. I guess this means I'm Steadman, too.

ANJ AND SHERMAN HEMSLEY

He sounds like Bernie Mac, but looks like George Jefferson. Go figure. (This was with a nod to Miceail, who pointed the resemblence out before. And speaking of Miceail.... )

MICEAIL AND MIKE DUNLEAVY

L'Il Dun is everybody's favourite rubber-faced baller. He epitomizes the acme of a drunken, goofy-looking basketball player. As does Miceail.

ME AND DANNY FROM "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"

I really don't see it. I just don't.

New Year's Eve: Welcome to the Jungle

Phew. It's over. Sort of.
The Stef Lova/Smooth J New Year's bash was the biggest party in our neck of K-town. Final head count? Somewhere in the neighborhood of 110. And all crammed into my pad.
With that many people in my hizzouse, you woulda thought there would have been more post-party carnage to clean up, but no, it was pretty mellow - apart from some character who removed the frozen perogies from our freezer, and stashed them in various locations around the house. There were a few, umm, "upset stomachs," but it was cleaned quick. The only casualty was the downstairs bathroom door. Apparently, many of our party guests had not seen a sliding pocket door before, and kept trying to push it open. Took me 45 minutes to get the damn thing back on its tracks.
But anyways, without further ado, New Year's Eve, 2008, in pictures. Enjoy.

The party begins....

The hostses with the mostests... food in their mouths. Mac and cheese whut whut!

This has gotta be my favourite pic from the night. Me, Mo, and Aidan's crazy ass...

Let the Blue Steel pictures commence. Erin, Tim, and Bishop's crazy ass....

Erin, Stef Lova and Justin aka Habib. My retarded little brother.

Joel and Sara sample the wares before the party starts.

My second-favourite pic of the night. Stef sinking her teeth into Karen's 10K puppies.

Me and Madden. He had the same expression on his face when I discovered he ATE MY PASSPORT. Seriously - the mangy mutt chowed down on my U.S. credentials - as I discovered when he puked it up on my floor in the morning. Anyone want a dog?

Big up to Spence, aka DJ Shado. The man spent hours transferring 90s hip hop from vinyl onto his laptop, then mixed us the ultimate party mix.
Which someone stole. Bastards.

Me n' Alyward. Blue Steel. Check it.

Me n' Steph. Hotness. Pure Hotness.

Me n' the Irish Posse: Keiron and Miceail.

Boys in the (Magic Estates) Hood.

The Allies. The Limey (Paul) and Yankee (Terrance)

How Stefan and T pick up women. The gunfinga.

Keiron, aka Drunkasaurus Rex. As Miceail put it.. "Laden with alcohol: check. Girl on the arm(brother in law status): check. Plate of food for the stomach that is always hungry: check. Spillin the remnants of your drink on JJ's floor: check."
Crazy "small world" story. The girl, Diana, is good friends with one of my sister's long-time friends from Victoria. And she just randomly ended up at my party...

The party at its apex. (And Aidan's crazy ass)

Downstairs, where pool, darts and Guitar Hero on the big screen was in full effect.

The aftermath.

The aftermath Pt. II. The best part of the clean-up? Discovering the countless number of barely touched bottles of Goose, Courvosier, Jack, Crown, Tanqueray, Smirnoff, and Absolut.

Until 2009!
