Go see this show, or die.

My pops is having an exhibition this month, so if you're in Vancouver, make sure you check it out.
But don't check out Pan's Labyrinth. Yeah, sure it got five stars, a billion academy award nominations, and looks cool in the previews ... BUT ... They don't tell you it's subtitled, they don't tell you that it's got some crazy sick violence (I've never seen an entire audience cringe before) that, really, comes out of nowhere. It's like I was watching Harry Potter on some crazy meth binge.

Wow you actually had to READ while watching "Pan's Labyrinth?" And the violence, gee, it was just like watching any number of Martin Scorcese films, except it was a fantasy. Oh the HORROR.

Racists, sexists, homophobes. Its all the same. All it takes is an emotional person to feel angry or scared or jealous of someone that is different in any way. It's impossible to hate all black people, or all women individually. But if you take what a few have done that bother you and stereotype the entire group with those traits, you can hate them all collectively in one easy swoop. It's like KRAFT dinner, nobody really wants it, but it's so easy to make!
