Skills that pay ... well, not much

The Mark V Raiders are struggling right now. No wins in three games, the last one we lost 3-2 to a bunch of weak-ass youngsters. No excuses - we had our chances, and guys showing up late and lacksidasical pretty much put a nail in our coffin before the game started.
A bye next week, one last regular-season game, and then it's the playoffs. Hopefully we'll be playing well into September, but we have to pull it together for that to happen.
There's not much going on these days in K-Town, and there are even fewer reasons to smile (long story). I've been working like a mule, covering events like the Apple Triathlon and football, but that's about it. The weather's turned a little south, a little cooler, but I still should be able to get in another few weeks on the boat...
